General conditions for reservations

1.ACCEPTANCE.- Making any reservation implies acceptance of these general conditions. The person making the reservation must be of legal age and is responsible for the veracity of the information provided.

2.RESERVATION.- The reservation can be made by phone, e-mail or directly on-line at our web.

If the client has not made the down payment using a credit card, a pre-payment of 40% of the total rental price should be made by bank transfer within the following 7 days to the bank account of MoreHoliday

The reservation is considered complete when the user receives the reservation confirmation along with its reservation number by email.

The remaining amount must be paid in cash or by credit card on the day of arrival when checking-in.

3.TOTAL PRICE OF THE RENT.- The price is the amount of rent for the total period contracted including the normal costs of electricity and water consumption.

We also offer sheets and towels for rent, subject to prior booking. The costs are: sheets 14 € per person and towels 6 € for a set of two towels. This price does not include a change of sheets or towels.

We also rent additional beds and cots at a cost of 14 € per week.

4.TOURIST TAX.- In addition to the total rental price, there is a compulsory tourist tax of 1,00 € per person (over 16 years old) per night, for the first 7 nights, levied by the Generalitat de Catalunya.

5.CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS.– Finques Fàbrega-Goertzen by More Holiday reserve the right to change the rented property for one of similar characteristics in the event of force majeure or causes beyond the agency’s control. Should the client not agree, Finques Fàbrega-Goertzen by More Holiday shall cancel the contract and return the down payment received for the reservation.

6.OCCUPANTS.- The apartment may be occupied only by the maximum number of people as specified in the apartment’s characteristics and the rental contract. Clients must comply with the community rules especially regarding the use of the swimming pool and barbecue, as well as having pets in the accommodation without the Agency’s permission.

7.CLEANING.- The property will be clean when the client arrives. On their departure, the apartment/house must be left in the same condition, being reasonably clean, without rubbish or leftover food.

8.EQUIPMENT.- The client must leave the property, furniture and equipment in the same condition as they found them upon arrival.

9.GUARANTEE.– On arrival, the client must leave a security deposit of the amount specified in the reservation. This can be in cash or can be blocked on their credit card. This deposit shall be returned in full on their departure, after the Agency has checked the property, unless defects are found in the apartment/house, the furniture or equipment, or if the apartment has not been left clean.

10.CHECK-IN.- Check-in is from 4 pm to 8 pm on the day of arrival in our offices at the address appearing in the top left hand corner of the reservation document.

11.CHECK-OUT.- Check-out is before 10 am on the last day of the client’s stay. Two days before their departure, the client should contact the agency or go to the office to arrange the check-out time and for Finques Fàbrega-Goertzen by More Holiday to check the apartment/house.

12.CANCELLATION OF RESERVATIONS.- Finques Fàbrega-Goertzen by More Holiday guarantees compliance with the cancellation policies and will refund the down payment in full or in part if the cancellation takes place within the following time limits:

-If the traveller/guest cancels up to 30 days before the date of arrival at the apartment/house, FG-MH will return 100% of the down payment.

-If the traveller/guest cancels up to 14 days before the date of arrival at the apartment/house, FG-MH will return 50% of the down payment.

Finques Fàbrega-Goertzen by More Holiday shall not reserve the accommodation contracted if it has not been occupied within 48 hours following the expected date of arrival, unless the client has duly notified the Agency of their delay, without this implying any reduction in the price of the rental amount.

13.INFORMATION.- All information provided by the client is saved on a secure server and we guarantee that this information shall be accessed exclusively by reservation staff and only for purposes of the reservation and to communicate with the client with respect to future promotions and offers.

The agency is not responsible for any misuse by the client of the property, services and equipment, nor any possible robbery or theft inside the property or in the communal areas or nearby areas, nor the use of the pools or any other facilities which may be in the communal areas, all of which are the exclusive responsibility of the client.
